We do this by staying on top of the lastest industy trends and keeping in touch with the industy leaders. We offer consultation and maintenance through out the life of your aquarium. We strive to stock and maintain a healthy and large sele ction of corals and fish. Our staff is knowledegable about the different types of corals and fish and their compatibility in a reef or fish system.
The original Ocean Gallery was established in 1978 and was located in Montclair, New Jersey. It was one of the first retail stores in the country to specialize in saltwater fish and corals. It was a pioneer in developing one of the first central saltwater filtration systems in the country. In 1994, due to space constraints the store was relocated to it’s current location at 980 US Highway 22 EAST in North Plainfield, NJ 07060. The current location boasts a 8000 sq foot building that houses one of new jerseys largest selection of Marine fish and inverts, along with an impressive selection of freshwater fish.
The store stocks a full line of high tech equipment way beyond that available at most stores. There is also a vast display of aquariums for you to choose from including aquariums manufactured by All Glass Aquariums, Marineland, Red Sea, and Perfecto. We also offer delivery and setup in conjunction with a monthly maintenance program.
During the pond season from the end of March thru October, the store offers a tremendous selection of imported koi and pond fish along with a full line of pond supplies.
The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to help those who visit the store.
